Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Everything is Smoke Machine if you use it improperly long enough. Last night I was trying to figure out driving  L298N Dual H Bridge Motor Driver Boards I gave up another sacrificial offering to the our Raspberry Overlords
on the upside it's only a $4.00 loss, but I got to either build up some bigger BADDER Bridge Drivers or quit using old DeFault drill motor Motors and gear Reductions

Where has that come from? The inputs to the bridge drivers are only low current logic level, they don't draw any current. Of course, if you are trying to put motor current through that pcb...

As the logic supply for those bridge drivers should be 5V I'd want to put level shifters between the PicoMite and the bridge anyway.

I was only running 5v logic voltage though the H-Bridge, until I ran way too much Amperage though the Bridge and and everything went poof :) and 12V got mixed in the 5v logic is my guess

Ah... not good. Release of the Magic Smoke prevents things from working.

Opto-coupling?

Not to worry I have a few bottles of smoke left over '70 BSA 441 Victor I had in the 80's

British Pico must run on British replacement Smoke :)

Too bad Richard ypu did not put the series resistors in the signal lines for the bridge...working fast ... costs money...
