I have been trying to get a ST7920 display working with the PicoMite.  Does anyone have this type display working on the PicoMite?

I am using PicoMite MMBasic Version 5.07.05b15

First, the "Option LCDPanel ST7920,L,GP15,GP14" gives an "Error : Expression syntax" message.  It seems to require an extra parameter (GPIO, Pin ?) as compared with the User Manual.  I have tried various combinations with no luck.

I have tested the display with a MM2 and it works perfectly, so I'm almost certain that the display is not the issue. (Never say Never)

I really like these little displays.  The "Black on Green (Yellow?)" ones are readable in full sunlight or normal room lighting without the back-light on.  Without the back-light current consumption is only a few mA.  If you really need to see the display in the dark, you can turn the back-light way down by adding resistance or PWM and current consumption is still reasonable.

Regards,
