I'm using V5.07.05 but have the beta downloaded. Should I install the beta firmware on my rpi2040 or stick with what I only just got working with mmedit? I don't want to mess up what's taken me weeks to sort out. |

Unless you are affected (not very likely) by one of the bugs or need one of the new features (even less likely I guess), stick with what you have. John |

You were connected to TassyJim's MMBasic device, for which there's a selection option in his MMEdit. I used that myself in my early days with MMBasic. PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |

MMEdit will not care if you do upgrade your picomite to the latest uf2. It is very unlikely that the com port number will change. You 'might' have to redo the OPTIONs but that has nothing to do with MMEdit. VK7JH MMedit |
