Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi,

if, for any reason, we need to reconnect to WIFI/WLAN, what is the procedure for this?

PICO W seams not to reconnect by itself, when WIFI (router etc) is down and comes back.

Does PICO W always needs a reboot for this?
Or can we try to reastablish a connection from runnimg Pico W?

THX to all

Try setting a watchdog in your program and OPTION AUTORUN ON.

That is something I usually try and avoid but it is working well for me in my picoW experiments.

It even manages to reconnect to my Fritz!Box which needs two attempts to get an IP address.

Absolut acceptable regarding Peters efforts and progress of Pico W mmbasic.
