Hi all.

@ matherp: the software serial port you wrote for this port - can I access this using INPUT and PRINT?
...or is it STRICTLY a console port and nothing else?

Is there ANY way to use the console serial port you wrote inside a program?
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

INPUT and PRINT should do all you want.

As there is only one serial port, and that's the console, whatever you do is going to have to look and behave like a console.

My chips should be here along with the programmer this week, so I should be able to run some experiments.
