The Nucleo-H743ZI2 is the target board for the ArmmiteH7 and I produced a comprehensive backpack for it - see here. The gerbers for the final version of the backpack are on page 3 (V1.3). Now that Gerry is looking after the Armmite code I'm sure we will see new releases coming and the Nucleo together with the backpack make a hugely powerful combination Looks like the chip shortage is finally coming to an end Edited 2023-09-07 23:13 by matherp |

Yes, I noted that the PIC32MX470 series chips that the MM+ is built around, are now back in stock at Microchip Direct, in many thousand quantities. BOTH the 64-pin and 100-pin versions - more then 10,000 chips of each in stock now. ![]() I had managed to keep a couple of both of those in stock here, but they were STRICTLY as backup chips if I had a system failure. I didn't dare use them in any new designs, in case I needed them to get something up and running again! ![]() Now that the 470's are available again, I have ordered some more so I can start to think about MM+ designs again now. ![]() Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Thanks, I've been hoping the H7 had not been forgotten, I look forward to any improvements or additions to this great combo. ![]() BTW: Four x V2 development boards arrived about 8 weeks ago. When I odored them I knew the wait time before production was due to restart was well over 6 months ![]() NANO Inverter: Full download - Only Hex Ver 8.1Ks |

Hi Mike, I think I have fixed the issue where you had to load the old version before the new version would run on a new ZI2 , but I can't prove it for sure until someone tries on a new virgin board. So if you still have any in their virgin state can you hold off programing them until I release a new beta for the H7. Should not be too long, just want to finish the F4 first. Gerry, I have a ZI2 board still in its package as well as one on one of Peter's backpack. I will keep the clean one handy for testing your next release. It is old stock so not likely to be the same revision as current ones. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Thanks Jim, I am suspicious its just not using the latest ZI2s, its actually just using the current latest software on any virgin board, so yours will be a good test. Latest F4 Latest H7 FotS |

Hi Gerry, only one board unpacked at the moment, looks like you will have a few of us who can test for that part of the problem, also have a few backpacks and the 9" LCD converter boards. Edited 2023-09-08 19:48 by KeepIS NANO Inverter: Full download - Only Hex Ver 8.1Ks |
