Anyone have an idea for the cause of this fault? It's a 9" screen in 16 bit on a H7, just appeared a few months back and only had time to look at it today. Still usable and touch is perfect, rest of screen is perfect colour. Removed the ARM-H7 pcb, backpack pcb, and 9" adapter pcb, all connections are good, reassembled and still the same. Starting to Look like the LCD. Moving, tapping and twisting boards makes no difference - LCD ram? LH side:  RH side:  . Hi Mike, Looks like the glass (the LCD) is defective. LCD's like these (unlike the small 16x2 LCD's) have COG (Chip On Glass), so all row and column signals are on the glass. There is no way to repair this. May have been caused (since it is at the edges) by too high pressure on the glass (screws tightening too hard) or as result of temperature (expansion).
