Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Option Hdmi on
- creates a Dma(?) driver which sends the video buffer to a pico . The pico can produce Hdmi in the same way as picomite.

When did that appear? How is the PicoMite connected to the CMM2?

Ah. Still won't work at much speed though. No matter how you shift the data to the Pico it still isn't as fast as the hardware HSTX module. Also, the Pico runs appreciably slower than the CMM2 and has a lot less RAM so you have an instant bottleneck.

The ARMmite is probably closer to driving HDMI as it has a hardware display port. I doubt if even that would be fast enough for HDMI though.

Of course, a VGA+audio to HDMI converter is less than three quid from Aliexpress...

There are plenty of commercial VGA->HDMI converters that work with CMM2.
