Mp3 playback was working fine under 6.00.03.

Upgraded to 6.01 and all mp3's either instantly crash or play incredibly slowly and crash occurs at the next command after 'play stop'.

Anyone else having similar issues ?. Yes flash nuked two different Pico2's at 200Mhz and 378Mhz...

Should be fixed in 60200. The bug was found on 2350 HDMI.

Not sure I can help, but I do have the PicoMiteRP2350V6.01.00.uf2 firmware, and the MP3 player running and it has played literally hundreds of MP3's over the past few weeks flawlessly (see my post here from last week)

Mine are encoded with 128Kbit/Sec and 196KB/Sec.
