Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I made a datalogger program using Micromite 4.7. I'd like to upload the data to a PC
using Teraterm, and generate a file using console.
I know the the Hyperterminal for Windows program solves this problem,
but I want to use Teraterm or MMedit.
Can anybody help me?

In Teraterm,
go to File/Log...
and select a file name to log to.

In MMEdit,
Open a Chat window,
Make sure you are in ASCII mode and not VT100.

Select Options/Start Capture.

In MMEdit you can also put a timestamp at the start of each line.
This can be useful for long timme logging

This may not be exactly what you are after, but in TT, click FILE menu, then LOG...

Select a filename for your data, and click SAVE. Make sure that APPEND and PLAIN TEXT are ticked - the other boxes can remain unticked.

This will open a file on the PC, and capture anything sent to TT from the MM.

Now, start your data transfer via the console, and TT will capture all that to the log file.

When done, click the TT LOG window which has opened when you clicked SAVE, and then click on CLOSE. This will close the file.

The data moved across from the MM via the console to the TT window, should now be saved in the log file.

EDIT: Jim beat me!

Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

I apologize. Before asking, I would have to look at the manuals.
Next time I do this.
Thank You again
