Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

The PLAY VOLUME does not appear to work for the TONE command.

If I issue PLAY VOLUME 25, then issue PLAY TONE 1000,1000,500, the tone plays at maximum volume no matter where I put the volume number.

I guess that means that volume only works on WAV playback, but is there any way to make it change the volume of the PLAY TONE command? I have the volume control set via a spinbox control, and was thinking that PLAY VOLUME also worked for setting the volume of the PLAY TONE command also - apparently this is not the case.

As I have now built the PCB and the amp has no on-board volume control, is there any chance that the PLAY VOLUME command can be made to change the volume of the PLAY TONE command?

I think this is a stock PWM output, if so, it is a square wave swinging from VCC to GND, no?

Record some suitable tones as WAV files?
