Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Just want to knock a little board to connect to the E-100 and have an ESP-01 for the console & a HC-12 for Com1.

Was just going to use the 40 way header & a fly lead for the console.

The board would only have the 2 modules + a 1000uF & 0.1uF cap for each device.

Just wondering if I'm also better off to add a separate 3.3V reg & one more 0.1uF cap to run the ESP off it's own reg instead of the E-100's 3.3v supply.

Tiny extra effort if it's more stable.

Thanks

Phil.

PS. Any issues if the two modules are just cm apart?

The ESP is power hungry and power sensitive.
I would go with a dedicated reg.

I can confirm that
I had to change the reg on the E100 board for a larger one for it to work properly all the time with the esp on my weather board
