G'Day Guy's,
Not sure how many members still follow this forum but trying to load the forum this morning got a page stating the forum is now dead in the water. I won't paste in the message given as it is pretty explicit and not light reading.

It is sad this forum will be gone unless someone else comes up a solution many years of my projects and other members projects are gone.

Regards Bryan

Hi Bryan, yes I tried to have a look a few days ago, and yep it does appear that Anotherpower is dead and gone.
Like you say lots of fantastic information and experience has gone off into the ether

Yea Pete it was the fieldlines forum where I had the build of my 4Kw motor conversion and with Anotherpower ain't been there for over a decade and what did have there was wiped.

So for a forum I joined back in the early days of me going off the grid is really a sad day.

Regards Bryan

I just had a look at https://www.otherpower.com/
and at https://www.fieldlines.com/ , both are up. Not sure what has happened or if I have my wires crossed.

I am a refugee from there, some others may show up too... the owner is having a breakdown and taking the forum down with him...

I do sometimes wonder about all the expertise here as well.

Something you may not be aware of is that the waybackmachine or archive.org keeps a record of many sites and otherpower.com and thebackshed.com are included. That means that even if a site is deleted, you can still access it and download a lot of the threads etc from archive.org.

Having said that, if you are afraid he might pull the pin  ...  I'd be downloading any data that you don't want to risk losing.
