OKJ, just testing, if you edit a message just after you have saved it, you can now change the forum area and subject. I see a few members posted new threads in the wrong area, and there was no way to correct this. So now, if you edit ( before anyone replies ), you can change the forum area and subject. |

Thanks, that will be useful! If we post from Active Topics it winds up in Windmills as that is first on the list of forums. Edit I see "Post to Forum*" and "Subject*" are the new fields. Edited 2025-08-11 15:41 by phil99 |

Yeah dont know why I didn't think of that, it should default to whatever forum you're in. I'll add that to the list. |

Oops! When I tried moving a new post from a page on Microcontrollers to this thread in Site News the entire thread moved! So now there are two Test Post threads. Moved it back to Microcontrollers and PC projects. Edited 2025-08-15 11:27 by phil99 |

Hi Gizmo, Maybe another item for the 'to do' list. In the "Strangeness" thread @Disco4now has mentioned TBS links in old threads using http://... get redirected to JAQ Software. Is it practical to redirect them to https://... ? If not we can change the links when we use them. Edit I think I have restored the "Strangeness" thread but it is getting confusing.!! Edit 2 Strangeness thread Edit 3 Apologies, I should have said:- If we start a new thread from Active Topics it winds up in Windmills as that is first on the list of forums.
