Solar panels as a sail ????? I always wondered how much wind would it take to tip the boat over. I had Dale hold the boat while i pulled on the strap. i could not pull it over. So we tied the strap to the trailer and both push on the boat. It was a very hard push but we did manage to get it to balance point. Dale held it on balance while I got some pictures. It will need a gale force wind to tip this boat over.

The boat is very stable driving around. We had the L10 (10HP) motor on at the time.

Hi Trev,
Depending on conditions it might be more likely to stay upright.
I have 2 (Actually 3) pole mounted solar array's that can tilt if I need, when it gets windy it forces the panels to sit horizontal, so I let it sit horizontal and then the wind has very little force against it, however this pole and pivot is dead centre of the solar array.
Looks good BTW, have fun with it
