Do you dread asking someone a question for fear that they can never answer without pulling out their phone and having you stand there FOREVER because they need to show a pic? Me: "Paul, do you want a green one or a red one?" Paul: "Red, hang-on, I have a picture of the red one" I just needed to ask another guy a question, who is just the same and so I walked a good distance away and came to him as if I was in a rush (I wasn't) and prefixed my question "I need a quick yes/no answer". He still went for his phone so I kept walking and shouted "text me" Drives me nuts. Yet when it comes to important communications, they forget that they have this device. They want a simple answer from someone and they'll spend 20 minutes tracking the person down for a yes/no. Tried to get them on Zello, which I use in the USA. Phone becomes a walkie talkie but they can't be bothered to install the (free) app. |
