Hello.   Can as someone please
Tell me if I can use my wipermotor for my steering without using remotecontroll.
I like to steer by using a potentiometer at my console.

If possible , explanation about wiring greatly appreciated.

Hello Ron, wiper motors may work but they are designed to reverse themselves at the end of their travel.
I would suggest that a linear actuator would probably be better for the job you want. The right size actuator would have plenty of torque and be easier to control.
You will need to use some sort of joy stick to control the direction for steering.
I use a linear actuator on our Television antennae, we need to adjust the antennae regularly depending on weather to get reception from different stations.
I use a small remote control to control it.
Is there a reason that you want a potentiometer rather than a push button control?
Here is a link to an Australian site that shows the sort of actuator I am talking about. They can be bought cheaply on ebay too.

I want a potentiometer as I can turn it like a steering wheel when I sit on my disability scooter.

* I just like to know can I wire my wipermotor to operate as a servo

* I also like to know can this be done with the parts I have at hand, and any diagram appreciated

If you were set on using a wiper motor, and have the steering potentiometer function the same as a normal steering wheel, then you would need to add positional feedback to the motor.  Something like an optical encoder or another potentiometer, coupled to the output shaft.

Then you could then use your IBT2 H bridge and your Arduino board to read the steering wheel potentiometer, and control the motor to get the desired position.
 

A few years ago, I had a project to control an automotive throttle body (also a dc motor and position reporting potentiometer).  I used an off the shelf product though, which made the project much more simple.

Then you could then use your IBT2 H bridge and your Arduino board to read the steering wheel potentiometer, and control the motor to get the desired position.
