This version of the inductance saturation tester follows on from ver2 published a few years ago Ver 2

Ver2 had a variable frequency square wave powering the inductor, its problem was it was possible to destroy the inductor if it ran for too long. So to Ver3, it sends out a single pulse or a train of pulses while the switch is pressed.



Just about to send the gerbers away along with some other projects. I have a bunch of inductors to make for some PV charge controllers along with a 3 Phase charge controller.










The PCB fits on a 100x100mm board, and uses components I had on hand.
If anyone wants the gerbers let me know.

PCB's came back a couple of days ago, will get on to building one for testing soon as a couple of other projects are sorted.
