This is a long term project Brian, more about the journey than the destination. Well thats my excuse.
I worked out I needed to track wheel rotations. Sending a constant PWM signal to the motor controllers wasnt good enough if there was a bump it needed to go up, etc. Added a pair of inductive pickups to the wheel sprocket, working on the code ( using a arduino for that ).
Unfortunately work gets in the way. I find I need to spend less and less time on the PC, so the coding that generates income is taking priority.
