It seems that the devices mentioned as having been tested here, are no longer available. Is there a tested/proven alternative? |

really? they are used in tons of stuff. I recovered one from an old Alcatel router last week. Winsource has 95,000 of the 4MByte devices in stock if that helps. The price difference between sizes is usually only pennies so I only buy the W25Q128 (16MB). That said I am not going to keep Winbond busy with the quantities I get through. I feel tempted to panic buy now https://www.win-source.net/winbond-electronics-w25q16.html MatherP did some CSUBS to read/write them and there is a purely MMBasic set on FruitoftheShed which makes them usable on MMX and Arm-mite platforms. |
