GDay lads, Some time ago there was mention of those red 2.8” SPI touch displays and how some are not compatible with the touch.. Can anyone please explain what the difference is and what to look for when ordering? I have to restock and I don’t want to buy the ones that do not work. It is easy to spot if the display does not include a touch controller. It is a 16 pin IC which, other than the 3.3V regulator, is the only IC on the board. Be aware that some eBay sellers show a photo of the board with the touch controller but further down the listing state that their product does not support touch. Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

Thanks JMan, That is the thread I remembered.. (bookmarking it now)... @Geoff, Yes I am also aware of that `trick’ of showing a touch screen pic but not including it.. The question was in regards to those that `should’ have been OK but didn’t work correctly.. I need to re-read that thread fully now to try to determine that I buy the correct version..
