Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Currently as far as I am aware it is only possible to enter font characters chr$(32) through chr$(125) using the keyboard from the command prompt and the editor. Would like to be able to also enter font characters chr$(126) through chr$(255) using the keyboard from the command prompt and the editor and within programs. The Commodore 64 had many keys with two additional characters printed on the left and right sides of the front face of keys and these font characters could be typed using the keyboard. We have the modifier keys left alt, left ctrl, left GUI, right alt, right ctrl, and right GUI that could be used for this purpose in combination with keys 0 through 9, A through Z, and some additional keys.
