If you only need two channels then I've found that 2 mosfets and four resistors can often be squeezed into spaces that you wouldn't expect them to fit. Mind you, I've put one of those suggested by Volhout between the legs of a Pico. :) For shifting downwards only, a simple potential divider often works. I have successfully used ZVNL110A for PS2 Level shift so far 'no comment |

I used 8 channel bi-direction level inverter with arduino and ili9341 as arduino 5v logic and ili 3.3v their cheap and should be ok to raise 3.3v logic to 5v |

I use most of the time a voltage devider for low speed or BS170 for 2-way or an optocoupler for 1-way communication. I've a lot of optocouplers lying around and work fine. |
