Question what are the pins marked dog intended for.

OK, You have got me... Where are the pins labelled DOG?

If you mean GDV (*and a spell checker bit you) then the description is in a box about 1" below them.

It is where you connect the optional watchdog timer.

Just kidding.....

As BigMik says, it is a header for Pin33 mainly, along with 3v3 and Ground.
I think this is where matherp was going to have 18B20 sensors or something.

If I'm right what are connections DB7 - DBF for?

The reason I'm asking is it looks like the horizontal connector is connected to COM 1?

I have nothing to play with at the moment so I bought a Pi.

@ lew247 - Other way around.

Horizontal one with the box drawn around it on the silkscreen is the Pi-Zero module footprint - you plug the Pi in there, and anchor it with the four bolts in the corners. The vertical 40-way on the RIGHT of the image above, is for the SSD1963 LCD. The board is designed to piggy-back onto an SPI LCD or to connect to an external SSD1963 parallel LCD via the header, or a short IDE hard-drive cable. DB8-DBF are the connections on the SSD1963 LCD for data-bus bits 9-16, which are not used, as the LCD runs in 8-bit mode, so only uses DB0-DB7 pins.

@ Paul - I think so, I will have a look.

I never got around to playing with this board myself, as at the time, I did not have a PI-zero.

The trouble with these projects is they never end !

I would like to buy two of these boards if you still have any. I have two 2.8 screens on two MM Backpacks which I could swap out as I now need "MM + Internet".

I am nervous about ordering 10 from China with the manufacturing data as I have no experience of this. If they ask any questions, I'm stuffed.

Hello.

Welcome to the forums.

I will have a look in my PCB's. Can't remember if I have any of those left or not, but if not, I can get some more in my next PCB order which I am preparing this week anyway. I will post back here with the results of my search.

@ Volhout: �There is no constructors pack or schematic for this, as it is just a blank PCB that you assemble. �If you want the Gerbers, I can upload the ZIP file here if that is what you are after, so you can get your own boards made.

@ PeterB: Order them via my website on the PRODUCTS page, which will forward you to PayPal, then I can send them out to you.
