poida said   Tinyt, how are things gong with the pcb files?
No hurry, I want to check with you before I take the latest files you have posted here
and engage the pcb manufacturer.

I re-checked today the rev D gerber files I posted here and I as far as I know I did not find any issue.

Thanks for confirming that all is good for the pcb fab.

I am ordering 25 boards, 2oz copper, 1.66kg, DHL freight to AUS.
Cost is AUD $4.24/board from JCLPCB. (edit: I got a discount for some reason!)

Recall I said $10/each including postage.
I think that's fair, some postage will be more expensive than others
and I want it all to even out to no profit for me and no huge cost to me.
I want to be transparent with the costings.

nicks x2 (post to Euroland..)
Ben&Amber x2 (post to USA)

all adds up to 18, I want one spare and figure it handy
to have 6 left over for other people.Edited by poida 2019-05-10

The boards are about 70g each. Australia Post quote about $12 AUD for
up to 260 x 360 x 20mm and less than 250g and approx. 8 business days.
It should be no problems.

You sure those numbers are right?
Betta double check it, last time I ordered the shipping wasn't clear and it worked out to slightly under $10 each. I only got 10 though.

I really like the esp32 so I was thinking about designing a esp32 based nanoinverter so you could run everything off of one micro and have wifi monitoring. It is dual core so you could have the wifi running separately from the inverter control. Also was thinking about making a smaller board with smd components. For now I'm just going to get a madness board and nano control board to get started. I also want to look into the warp inverter.
Currently I have small 2kwh 18650 battery with 400 watts of solar. I am slowly replacing everything with diy versions. Working on building my mppt charge controller then the pure sine inverter. Already have a diy bms system.Edited by kentfielddude 2019-05-11

It all sounds good to me. I have a ESP32 WROOM which I programmed via the Arduino IDE.
How will you program the ESP32?

Nice!

Kent, are you familar with the RMT on the ESP32?

Excellent!

I am also excited about building the warpverter but the availability of toroid cores is holding me back.

If you're interested, those of us in the U.S. can do a group buy of LTO batteries and toroid cores to go ahead with the project?
