Hello folks. ![]() I had a spare second, so whipped up version two(1B) of a Pi-cromite PCB. The alpha board was developed with led-bloon over in the PCB MANUFACTURING forum a month or so ago. Some changes were made to that alpha layout, and this is what we have now: ![]() ![]() This board accepts a Pi-Zero or Pi-Zero-W, and allows you to easily connect either an SPI LCD or an SSD1963-based LCD. Fully supports touch and all other PiCromite features. Pins on the LCD's etc are labelled, so you can easily ID a pin on the LCD header you are NOT using. ![]() The board is designed to accept an SPI LCD module on the top, or you can plug into the 40-pin header on any supported SSD1963 LCD module. A couple of self-adhesive rubber feet as spacers would be required for 1963 LCD's, or a short IDE HDD lead could also be used to link the board to the LCD module. I have ordered 10 boards for now, but if there is any interest here, please respond to this thread so I can try to gauge demand. If there is interest, I would be happy to release a constructor's pack(ZIP) with all the Gerber files, drill-data, BOM etc, then people could make as many as they want themselves. Hell - all gone. ![]() I will order some more, for anyone else wanting them. Would members prefer I sell them finished boards, or would they prefer that I upload a constructors pack with the Gerber's etc so they can make their own? Price per board would be US$3 at this stage. Postage(airmail) would be US$2 - up to four PCB's can fit in one envelope. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

What details would you like? Dimensions diagram or something? Board size is 93mm x 51mm if that helps. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

@ astroboy - Sorry for the confusion. I just mean finished boards - as in already manufactured and ready for you to solder. Finished/blank/ready to use. @ atmega8 - It is designed to match a 2.8" SPI LCD module. Or you can plug the parallel interface into any SSD1963 display, but you have to work out some form of support for the PiCromite PCB. The SPI LCD will mount directly to the PiCromite, and the mounting holes line up for this display. I have ordered another 20 boards to cover demand. It will be PayPal, yes. Smoke makes things work.
