Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me. |

The amplifier is a differential amplifier. So it amplifies the difference between A and A-. In case of mono, you hear theretically nothing. Small differences between A and A- are amplfied. In case you have mono with counterfase signals, this results in a ver good loud audio. When A and A- are stereo, your loudspeaker will give the difference betwwe L and R. Thanks Volhout, this is what I thought, but doesn't match the observation that when fed a stereo signal with the same signal on L/AIN+ and R/AIN- I am getting a reasonable output. I guess I need to check my wiring. Best wishes, Tom MMBasic for Linux, Game*Mite, CMM2 Welcome Tape, Creaky old text adventures | ||||
