Hi Plasma, Or my one, About to be released? Here is a quick Picture. ![]() The PCB is 50mm x 50mm Has support for an on board ESP8266-Mini Has support for an on board HC-12 (you can see the antenna poking out (the HC-12 is mounted under the ESP-8266-Mini) Has support for a BMP180 (on the 4 flying wires) can use the TFT onboard SD card (the 4 skinny wires, you could use headers and wire jumpers if you prefer. Support for TFT 14pin SPI with touch and Backlight control Barrel jack for 5Vdc input (or the USB as a power source) A header for DHT-22 (This is on the 2x3 header you can see to the right of the barrel jack) A header for a DS18B20 (This is on the 2x3 header you can see to the right of the barrel jack) A 2 x 7 pin header to go to a daughter PCB that has PS2 and VGA. (In the picture below I have 2 resistors, to determine the value for the second Green as I didnt have a 200R timpot) ![]() All these pictures are of the Ver 1 board which has some minor issues, I have some Ver 2 boards if there is interest but I havent done a manual as of yet but I do have Shematic and Overlays, Hey I can add them here. No schematic of the PS2 and VGA but it is the circuit from the manual. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Kind Regards, Mick Edited 2022-07-14 17:20 by bigmik Mick's uMite Stuff can be found >>> HERE (Kindly hosted by Dontronics) <<< |

Nice, Mick. Here's another with gerbers (LCD not mounted, but PCB tested with ILI9341 and ILI9488): PCB Picomite on fruitoftheshed ~ Edited 2022-07-14 21:06 by lizby PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |

Hi Mick (the other one), All, Firstly I apologise for the huge pictures, I should have reduced them first. I do think I squeezed in a lot on the small board, Of course you don’t need to have everything optioned on your build, it’s just that they are catered for if you want/need them. My goal is to create a tiny Pico-PC using these boards and my tiny box arrived toda6 and it looks like it will be a goer. Unfortunately it will mean soldering the boards together as the heights required mean standard headers will be too high to fit. I have another board I am nearly finished that will give the Audio (as per the manual) plus a 20way (2x10) R/A header that will still fit the form and (once again directly soldered) and squeeze between the main board and VGA board and, hopefully still squeeze into my tiny box. The box itself? I hear you ask, is 56mm x 58mm x 28mm (draw it out it IS tiny) externally so it will be tight but I think it will be doable. If it works out it will be a miracle. Yep, that's a diddy one. :) I think my smallest usable VGA design is the unreleased PicoMite LEO Maxi. 72mm x 54mm no case, but has fixing holes VGA & PS/2 JDY-40 on a COM port micro SD card socket Volhout's audio filter GPIO port with 9 GP pins (including all ADCs),3V3 and 2 GND pins. SD and audio jack at the front, PS/2, power & VGA at the back. GPIO port could use a 90 degree connector to be accessible from the front. I'm not pursuing squashing things tighter, I don't think. I did try for 50x50, but you can't do it with a standard PicoMite and I'm too tight to spend silly money on the smaller clones. :) Edited 2022-07-14 22:21 by Mixtel90 Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

Hi Mick, All, It IS possible, the board shown above is exactly 50mm x 50mm the Pico itself is 51mm so it does hang over 0.5mm each side and the usb on top of that. I originally designed the board (PicoMuP) in conjunction with AndrewG for our own purposes as the Pico Pi is so cheap and readily available, unlike our favourite MX170 chips. I have fallen in love with the Pico Pi, and thanks to Peter MMBasic is ported to it and is performing admirably, I haven’t even yet tried to overclock the Pico. I like the boards you have been putting out as well. As you may have seen Andrew and I are looking at making a fascia into a blank wall plate for mounting inside the house without upsetting the ‘other half’. My front panels are looking very nice indeed compared to the ones I posted in the CNC thread. I will update it when I have a perfect panel using our cheap-as-chips CNC machines. This is so much fun, I might have to give up golf to put more time into it. Take care all, Regards Mick (yes the BIG one) Edited 2022-07-15 00:02 by bigmik Mick's uMite Stuff can be found >>> HERE (Kindly hosted by Dontronics) <<< |

Oh, I must have released it then. :) I'd forgotten. Must be getting old.... I dunno... I keep doing these things. :) Edit: Oh yeah... it'shere... I think you may have done your own gerbers from that as I can't find them. lol . Oops. Leo is not actually in my JLCPCB order history. My guess is I saw the thread, put the note in my orders list, then couldn't find gerbers and forgot to remove it from the list. I'll stop anticipating its arrival now. Did receive the SSD1963 board today. ~ Edited 2022-07-15 01:20 by lizby PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |

Ah! That explains it. I'll post the gerbers on the LEO thread anyway - someone might be interested. I'll have to check the Maxi first though, to make sure the inductors fit. I'd better sort the circuits out too. :) I hope the board works well for you. :) Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |
